Paul Hobday
Paul Hobday is a paranormal investigator/researcher and television show contributor, best known for his role in the international TV series Ghost Chasers. Paul has worked on a number of live-broadcast and recorded paranormal TV Shows, both on screen and behind the scenes.
Originally from Bristol, England, the paranormal has been Paul's passion for many years, having undertaken countless paranormal investigations across the UK and Europe. He is open-minded to the various theories and beliefs behind the causes of paranormal activity, and has experienced phenomena for himself, but is still in search of answers as to what the cause of that phenomena might be - whether that is science, psychology, the supernatural, or something else.
Paul is an advocate and promoter of the analytical investigation of paranormal phenomena, based on scientific understanding, critical thinking and good ethical practice. Ultimately, his mission is to help advance the research into anomalous phenomena and to understand what the paranormal activity is that people have been reporting around the world for centuries.
Paul is the founder and chair of the UK Paranormal Society - a charity launched in October 2022 to help protect the public and heritage locations from misinformation, malpractice and exploitation relating to the paranormal. The charity aims to provide a freely accessible resource of reliable, factual, unbiased information and guidance; encourage good ethical standards; and promote existing and future scientific research into the paranormal.
