- Alex Enriquez Drummond was born and raised in Dumont, New Jersey and attended high school at St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City. After graduating from Saint Peter's College with a B.A. in English, he served for a year in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Houston, Texas, where he worked at a transitional residence for homeless men with HIV.
His first movie, "Killer Party" (aka "The Shower"), had its world premiere at Shriekfest in Los Angeles. During its festival run, the movie won awards for Best Feature (Nevermore Film Festival, Macabre Faire Film Festival, Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival), Best Comedy (Fright Night Film Festival), Best Director (Macabre Faire Film Festival), and Best Ensemble (Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival, Los Angeles Fear & Fantasy Film Festival.) Killer Party was distributed by genre favorite Epic Pictures in the U.S. and Grimm Entertainment in the U.K. under the title "L.A. Contagion."
