Julian was born and raised in England, and moved to the USA in 1989. He moved to San Diego, CA, to continue his study of the Japanese martial art, Aikido. He is a 5th degree black belt in the art and studied under Kazuo Chiba sensei as Kenshusei (Special Student) and Uchi Deshi (a full-time student who lives in the school). Julian operated Aikido schools in England, La Jolla (California), and Irvine (California).
