Aaron Lewis is an accomplished filmmaker and director known for his distinctive storytelling and visionary approach to cinema. Born in Pearl, MS, Aaron developed an early passion for the arts, which led him to pursue an education in Film and Television Production. This passion was nurtured through various creative endeavors during his formative years. After completing high school, Aaron attended Columbia College Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television Production with a focus on directing and producing. His time at Columbia College Chicago was highlighted by his creation of several short films that showcased his emerging talent as a director with a unique voice. Upon graduating, Aaron began his journey into the television industry as a production assistant, camera operator, and editor, gaining invaluable experience on the sets of both basic cable and intermediate studio productions. This period was instrumental in honing his technical skills and understanding the intricacies of film production. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, powerful use of camera framing, and character-driven narratives, Aaron draws inspiration from diverse influences, including the French New Wave, Italian Neo-Realism, Korean films, classical literature, photography, and Renaissance painters. His work often explores themes of identity, resilience, and the human condition, resonating deeply with audiences and critics alike. Aaron's breakthrough came with the release of "Moments," a Digital Series that premiered at the Dances With Films Film Festival NYC (2024) and won the Audience Award for Best TV Pilot. The show won 3 Indie Series Awards (2024) for Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress, and Best Writing. "Moments" also won 2 awards at the prestigious Rio International Web Festival (2023) for Best Drama and Best International Series. The series' success established Aaron as a promising new director in the industry.
