Haley's father, Michael Haley, voiced the absurdist superhero The Maxx on MTV / Liquid Television's animated series 'The Maxx' (1995).

House of Ka co-writer, Michael Alan Herman, met Haley during the pair's employment as creature-actors at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights.

In addition to financing, producing, and acting in Eastsiders (2012), Haley was also tasked with writing and directing a social media-intended digital series that was set to debut as a marketing companion piece to the main show, but was scrapped at the last minute. Celebrities Lin Shaye, Traci Lords, Brea Grant, and RuPaul's Drag Race star Katya, were among the talent involved in both projects.

Haley collaborated with writing partner Harvey Guillén (What We Do In The Shadows) on several independent film and audio concepts and projects, including an episode of the Ava Digital Award-winning fiction podcast 'It Listens From The Radio'.

Founded Lonely Spectre Productions in 2020, a multimedia production company dedicated to innovative storytelling within horror, science-fiction, and LGBTQ+ genres.
