Won two medals from World Championships - one gold in 2011 and one bronze in 2008.

Is a bobsledder and a professional arm wrestler.

Took a break from his professional arm wrestling career to return bobsleigh training until 2007.

Received the The Order For Merit to the Fatherland Award 4th class from Russian President Vladimir Putin handing the state awards.

His triumph over legendary arm-wrestler John Brzenk, was immortalized in the feature-length documentary, "Pulling John", directed by Sevan Matossian.
