Tiara West is a director, writer, and actress. The Baltimore native moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2015, after studying theatre at Arena Players Incorporated. Navigating her way as a self-taught filmmaker, West has studied from various resources such as books, Sundance courses, podcasts, and movies. West landed an internship at Bobbcat Films, a production studio located in Atlanta, Georgia. During her time there she was able to work with multiple film companies, including Bounce TV, Lifetime, and TV One.
In 2022 West became an award-winning filmmaker for her short film, "Sophia," which is now on Revolt TV. West strives to create compelling stories and beautiful soul films for years and generations to come. Her overall goals are to own a production studio, win an Academy Award, and travel the world showcasing her films.
