Director/Producer David Zhou was born in Beijing, China and attended The International School of Beijing for the majority of his life. Zhou moved to the United States when he was 17 years old where he finished high school at The Valley Forge Military Academy and later received his bachelors degree in Film and Media Arts at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Before Zhou's graduation from Temple University, he wrote, directed, and produced his first short film, The Condo, a story about two best friends who turned their living room into an underground gambling den in order to raise money to pay off their gambling debts to a China Town Kingpin. The short film had a successful festival circuit, premiered in Cannes, and also won best comedy at The London International Film Awards.
Zhou is currently living in Los Angeles where he continues his career in film.
