Originally getting his start on YouTube in the early 2010s, filming stunts and pranks in rural Canada with friends. After himself and two others from his hometown garnered the attention of TV producers in late 2012, Sebastiani and co. were quickly offered a series on MTV Canada thereafter, titled Careless Teens in 2013. After the short 8 episode run of the reality program came to an end that same year, it wouldn't be long until in 2014, following the show's cancellation, the former MTV star would run into a founder of the YouTube channel NELK, at an MTV conference in Canada. Eventually joining the team and rebranding himself as MTV Jesse going forward, until his departure from the channel close to a decade later in 2022.
