Biography

Sarah Parr is a Midwest-based actor with Central New Jersey roots. You can connect with her on social media @sarahsmilez16

While growing up a block away from the renowned Forum Theater, and attending Rutgers Preparatory School and Metuchen Dance Centre, Sarah developed a great affinity for the performing arts. Her latest training includes a Voice Over class with Leilani Barrett at 1st Team Actors Studio. Throughout high school and college, she was able to study camera acting, improvisation, movement, Shakespeare, and contemporary scenes and monologues, as well as voice for the stage, and pop and musical theater vocal work. In addition to taking years of acting (and singing) classes, Sarah has trained in many styles of dance, and her favorite genres include tap, hip hop, and heels. She loves taking master classes at Broadway Dance Center, the American Tap Dance Foundation, and Elevated Dance Headquarters.

When Sarah isn't acting, you can find her working at a local dance studio, helping out on various productions behind the scenes, or writing all kinds of copy for all kinds of clients. In May 2020, she earned a BA in theater arts (with an acting concentration), English, and cognitive science from Case Western Reserve University, and she is pursuing her MS in digital marketing through Rutgers University.
