Murray Visits Roosevelt's Hometown

Bill Murray has visited the former home of Franklin D. Roosevelt as he prepares to play the 32nd U.S. president in a new movie.
The Ghostbusters star will tackle the role of Roosevelt in the film Hyde Park on Hudson, which will focus on the politician's close relationship with distant cousin Margaret 'Daisy' Suckley, who will be played by Laura Linney, as well as the 1939 visit of England's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
Murray visited Roosevelt's hometown of Hyde Park, New York on Sunday with the film's screenwriter Richard Nelson, spending time at several historical sites including the president's former home and the local museum.
Nelson tells local newspaper the Poughkeepsie Journal, "It was his choice. He wanted to come and take a look."
Filming begins next month in England ahead of a planned 2012 release.
