Blue Mountain State sees three football-mad freshman – Alex (Brooks), a talented quarterback who is content to sit on the bench and party with his best friend Sammy (played by co-creator Chris Romano), who aspired to be nothing more that the school’s football mascot; and Craig (Jones III), whose life and career has already been mapped out by his overbearing girlfriend – arrive at a football-crazy mid-western college where they must learn to juggle football, girls, studying and non-stop partying.
One of the more outrageous sitcoms to hit Us television screens in recent years, Blue Mountain State combines the two most popular teen genres – the sports movie and the gross-out comedy – to great effect, and follows in the footsteps of American Pie in successfully capturing both Ott sexual humour and the college experience.
