Ronan Bennett’s new show, Hidden is coming to BBC One in the first week of October. Life on Mars star Philip Glenister plays the role of Harry Venn, a one-time criminal who now works as a lawyer. Venn’s past comes back to haunt him after he agrees to take on a case involving a career criminal called Joe Collins.
Dutch actress Thekla Reuten plays attorney Gina Hawkes in the four part show while Poirot star David Suchet takes on the role of Sir Nigel Fountain. Unlike other recent high profile dramas such as The Fades, Doctor Who and Luther, Hidden was not co-produced by BBC America so it is unclear whether the network will broadcast episodes in the U.S.
