Hollyoaks star Emmett Scanlan has said that his character Brendan Brady still harbours strong feelings for ex-lover Ste Hay. The pair have been apart for some time, with Ste (Kieron Richardson) currently concentrating on his career ambitions and Brendan busy training up Joel Dexter (Andrew Still) as a protégé at Chez Chez. However, Scanlan told All About Soap that he believes there is still unfinished business between Brendan and Ste. "Regardless of what's happened, Brendan still loves Steven," the actor commented.
