Arcade Fire working on album with ex-lcd Soundsystem star James Murphy
Arcade Fire's manager has confirmed that the band are working with former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy in the studio. The band are currently working on the follow-up to their 2010 album The Suburbs. In an interview with MusicWeek, the band's manager Scott Rodger said: "They're in with James Murphy on three or so songs, plus Markus Dravs who is a long-time collaborator. They write too many songs - that's a good problem to have. There's around 35 songs with Arcade Fire, two albums' worth for sure."
