When a movie makes over $1 billion at the box office, it's not too often that a sequel doesn't immediately follow. However, in the case of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, the movie was based on a classic work of literature where no official continuation exists. It's true that Lewis Carroll wrote two books featuring Alice, however, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass were both used as source material for the movie. Nevertheless, Disney is now forging ahead with a potential sequel, bringing back screenwriter Linda Woolverton to attempt to pen a script. In addition to writing the first Alice in Wonderland film, Woolverton has done plenty of other work for Disney over the past two decades. She also wrote Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey and the upcoming Sleeping Beauty prequel Maleficent. There is no word yet on whether or not...
