A bit of non-news for you that poses the question, "What if...?"  In this case: What if John Carpenter directed a Dead Space feature film?  The property is a hit video game series.  Carpenter loves video games.  And, I think, the game certainly carries shades of some of Carpenter's films.  Seriously, why not "John Carpenter's Dead Space"?

Well, Carpenter would like to do it.  "You know it's great," he told Game Informer. "The first game was more - I guess it was like Alien - but not quite. It was a little different than that."
