Man Utd Transfer News: Cristiano Ronaldo Denies Renewing Real Madrid Contract
Cristiano Ronaldo has stunned the world of sport by publicly denying rumours that he has signed a new deal with Real Madrid.
Ronaldo has been linked with a sensational summer return to Old Trafford and has now further fueled speculation he could be leaving Madrid.
The former Manchester United winger tweeted:
“All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false.”
Ronaldo has previously said he would not discuss his future until he has returned from international duty with Portugal, but it seems that claims Ronaldo is staying at the Bernabeu were just too frustrating for the 28-year-old to keep quiet on.
Recent reports have suggested that Ronaldo would leave Madrid this summer but President Florentino Pérez has denied the claims and has insisted Ronaldo will retire with the Spanish side.
