
A24 Snaps Up David Michod's 'The Rover,' Starring Pattinson and Pearce

A24 has snapped up Us rights to Aussie director David Michod's "The Rover," his much-anticipated follow-up to 2010's "Animal Kingdom." The thriller stars Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce in the Australian desert in a dangerous near-future. Scoot McNairy ("Argo," "Killing Them Softly"), Susan Prior and Anthony Hayes (both "Animal Kingdom" alum), Gillian Jones ("Oscar and Ludinda") and David Field ("Chopper") also star.
