Lionsgate Acquires "Crossfire" Series Rights
Lionsgate have optioned the film rights to Sylvia Day's romantic adult novel series "Crossfire". The series, which consists of three novels so far, has sold over 12 million copies since its debut last year.
The start centers on Eva Tramell, a rising female advertising executive, and billionaire businessman Gideon Cross. Both are trying to escape devastating and abusive pasts, and bother are intensely drawn to one another as they try to find a way to heal and establish a healthy romantic relationship.
The three books are titled "Bared to You," "Reflected in You" and "Entwined with You". That most recent one sold over 550,000 copies in its first week alone.
Jeremy Bolt and Stephanie Johnson are set to produce.
