X Factor stars Next of Kin have revealed how they ended up living with Hollywood actor Stephen Dorff after they begged him to help relaunch their music career.

Brothers Kieran, Nathan and Mark Bass, who briefly found fame as child popstars in the '90s, told Digital Spy how they cold-called producers and celebrities in a bid to get their songs heard - and soon found a fan in the Blade actor.

Nathan recalled: "It was in 2011, I wrote to Stephen Dorff, the actor, on Facebook, and I said, 'Listen to our stuff'. I did it to a load of people just to see if we'd get noticed.

"He came back and he literally went, 'Oh my God, you're like the Bee Gees. You have to come and meet my dad, 'cause my dad used to work with them'.
