Lorna Simpson voted off 'The X Factor'
Lorna Simpson was voted off 'The X Factor' tonight (13.10.13). The 26-year-old business student from London, who was mentored by Sharon Osbourne, became the first contestant to be leave this year's series after losing a sing-off against van driver Shelley Smith, 34. Shelley, who was placed in the bottom two after failing to impress the public with a performance of Heart power-ballad 'Alone' in the first 'Flash Vote' during Saturday night's (12.10.13) 1980s-themed show, was the first to sing for survival and performed 'One Night Only' by Jennifer Hudson.
