‘Doctor Who’ Alum Matt Smith Joins ‘Terminator’ Reboot
Matt Smith is headed from one iconic sci-fi franchise to another. The popular “Doctor Who” star, who just left the legendary British show last year, has been cast in the upcoming “Terminator” reboot, Paramount announced on Friday. He will play a new character with a strong connection to John Connor, and joins a cast that includes Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee.
