23 Jump Street in the works, Rodney Rothman to write script
23 Jump Street is going into production, it has been reported.
The sequel to the Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill movie will be written by Rodney Rothman, who worked on 22 Jump Street.
Deadline reports that Sony Pictures and Original Film have started forward motion on the movie, which will be the third in the series.
It is currently unclear whether Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will be back to direct the third film.
The plot of 22 Jump Street, which was released earlier this year, saw undercover cops Schmidt and Jenko not only attempt to crack a crime ring in a fraternity but also try to figure out if they can have a mature relationship, as they begin to question their partnership.
