Celebrities getting hypnotised: Is this the next big reality show?
Have you ever wanted to see celebrities believing they're naked or thinking they're cavemen? Well, that possibility just got a little bit closer as the company behind The X Factor has snapped up the rights to a television show about stars being hypnotised.
FremantleMedia - which also produces Britain's Got Talent and Take Me Out - has just bought the global rights to French TV show Stars Under Hypnosis.
The programme, which was a ratings hit in France, sees eight celebrities being hypnotised and features a mixture of pre-recorded segments and a live broadcast.
In the French series, which aired on TF1, hypnotist Messmer had celebrities believing that they could speak Chinese, thinking that they were being attacked by insects, imagining that they were a burglar and being convinced that they were naked on live television.
Other guests thought that they were cavemen and were being chased by mammoths. The...
