
Watch: Exclusive 'Human Capital' Clip Displays Awards Dinner Drama

Film Movement's "Human Capital," Italy's Oscar submission for Best Foreign Language Film, opens this week and Indiewire has an exclusive clip of one of the drama's pivotal scenes. Valeria Bruni Tedeschi leads the ensemble cast including Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Valeria Golino and Fabrizio Gifuni in director Paolo Virzì's character study of two families in different social classes who are inextricably linked by a tragic accident. "'Human Capital' begins at the end as a cyclist is run off the road by a careening SUV the night before Christmas Eve," the film's synopsis reads. "As details emerge of the events leading up to the accident, the lives of the well-to-do Bernaschi family, privileged and detached, will intertwine with the Ossolas, struggling to keep their comfortable middle-class life, in ways neither could have expected.
