The Bachelor is coming to the UK! 6 reasons to watch the hit Us show
We were already kind of in love with ITVBe - Towie! Dinner Date! The Real Housewives! - but if anything was going to cement that passion, it was the news that The Bachelor is starting on the channel tonight.
We're not talking about the UK's attempt at the monster franchise - sorry Gavin Henson and Spencer Matthews, but you just didn't cut it. Nope, this is the proper Us version - season 16 (out of 19 to date), to be precise.
If you're not familiar with the concept of the show, it's pretty simple - host Chris Harrison guides a (supposedly) eligible bachelor as he whittles down a group of hopeful women through a series of dates until he gets to the final one. And then he proposes (yes, seriously - it's genuinely kind of expected at this point that they'll go the whole hog).
