Martin Freeman won't be playing a superhero in Captain America: Civil War
Mark Millar has teased Martin Freeman's role in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.
The comic book writer revealed Freeman won't be donning a superhero costume in the third outing for Captain America.
Millar told Radio Times: "I know who he's playing in the film, but I guess it's still a secret."
Millar continued: "The character is not a super-person, it's somebody who's… well, I don't want to spoil it for anybody but he's not going to be in costume."
The Kingsman: The Secret Service writer admitted he is a fan of the Sherlock actor and believes he could play any character.
"All I'll say is, he's not the Red Skull."
Producer Kevin Feige said of Freeman last week: "From his roles as Bilbo Baggins and Doctor Watson to Tim in The Office, Martin's range from the dramatic to the comedic has consistently impressed us.
