Florida Teen Convicted of Murder for Luring Her Boyfriend to His Death
A Florida teen accused of luring her boyfriend to his death in 2011 has been convicted of his murder in a retrial, People confirms. It took jurors just two hours of deliberation to convict Amber Wright, 19, of first-degree murder in the death of 15-year-old Seath Jackson, according to Wesh. Wright's previous conviction was overturned because she had not been properly read her Miranda rights. Wright was just 15 herself when she lured Jackson to a Summerfield home where he was beaten, tortured, shot, and burned. Though Wright did not physically attack Jackson, prosecutors argued that she was just as guilty in his death.
