Nina, an upcoming film from filmmaker Cynthia Mort just dropped its first trailer today. Starring Zoe Saldana in the role of renowned musician and civil rights activist Nina Simone, the film follows her life and struggles as a legendary musician.

This is a film that's been sitting in a vault somewhere for quite some time, as it was first shown at the Cannes Film Festival back in May of 2014. One has to wonder why it's taken so long for the film to drop.
