Yesterday on Facebook, Vin Diesel teased the first trailer for his long-awaited sequel XXX: The Return of Xander Cage. Always true to his word, the actor has now posted this sneak peek, which gives us our first look at some of the explosive action set pieces this sequel has to offer. We also get to see the long-awaited reunion of Vin Diesel's Xander Cage and Samuel L. Jackson's Augustus Gibbons from the original xXx, which hit theaters back in 2002.

Vin Diesel's first xXx was a box office hit, taking in $142.1 million domestic and $277.4 million worldwide from a $70 million budget. Despite the initial movie's success, Vin Diesel did not return for the sequel XXX: State of the Union, which starred Ice Cube as Augustus Gibbons' new recruit, Darius Stone. That sequel didn't fare quite as well at the box office, taking in just $26.8 million domestically and $71 million worldwide.
