Lee Daniels’ ‘Star’ Gets New Showrunner
Lee Daniels‘ midseason Fox drama “Star” has found a new showrunner in Chuck Pratt, TheWrap has learned. The “Melrose Place” alum replaces Charles Murray, who stepped down because he did not share the same vision for the series as co-creators Daniels and Tom Donaghy, we’re told. The parting of ways was amicable. Filming on “Star” begins later this month in Atlanta.
