Why 'Survivor' Did the Right Thing Airing Footage Outing Zeke as Transgender
The reaction to Jeff Varner outing Zeke Smith as transgender has been strong and rightfully angry from the majority of the Survivor fandom. While most are condemning Varner for his actions there are those who hold CBS even more responsible. On her Twitter account, Survivor alum Corinne Kaplan even wrote Jeff Varner only outed Zeke to six people, it is CBS who told millions. It's an understandable position, but Survivor did ultimately make the right decision in airing the outing.
