Inhumans Season 2 Already Being Planned Despite Terrible Reviews
Inhumans is due to premiere tonight on ABC, but advance word after its brief run at IMAX theatres has not been good. Rotten Tomatoes has concluded that the show “sets a new low standard for the McU,” with reviewers criticizing its soapy melodramatics and an overall air of cheapness. Ouch!
It’s probably a decent prediction that Marvel’s ready to wholly disregard the entire project and will probably be busily pretending the whole thing never happened by Christmas. But, displaying an admirable optimism, showrunner Scott Buck is already making plans for season 2 and beyond.
In a recent interview, he said the following:
“We have ideas. We know our starting point for Season 2, but we don’t know if there will be a Season 2. Hopefully, there will be a Season 2. If so, we know where we’re gonna start, and we’ll very gratefully gear up and get to work.
