NBC has parted ways with affiliate marketing boss Scot Chastain, the company said on Tuesday. His departure came following an investigation into Chastain’s conduct, TheWrap is told. Details of the investigation or of apparent allegations made against Chastain were not made public, with an NBCUniversal spokesperson simply stating that the longtime executive had exited his post of nearly two decades. “A thorough internal review was conducted. Scot Chastain is no longer with the company,” the spokesperson said. NBC would not comment on the exact nature of the review.
