Blue Apron Drops Laura Ingraham, Says It Was ‘Unaware’ Ad Aired Monday Night
On Tuesday, meal kit delivery service Blue Apron became the 22nd company to drop sponsorship of Laura Ingraham’s show, after it says an ad aired on “The Ingraham Angle” without its knowledge.
“We were unaware that our ad would be running on The Laura Ingraham Angle last night,” the company told TheWrap in a statement. “We will no longer be advertising on the show, and will be working with our media buying partners to more closely monitor where our ads appear going forward.”
A Fox News spokesperson confirmed to TheWrap that Blue Apron requested to drop sponsorship Tuesday morning.

Blue Apron follows SlimFast, which also dropped sponsorship of Ingraham on Tuesday, just one day after the Fox News host returned from a vacation she took during the fallout over a much-criticized tweet about Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg.
Ingraham is facing a boycott campaign started by Hogg on March 28, after Ingraham accused Hogg of “whining” over his rejection by several California colleges. Ingraham didn’t mention the Hogg dispute on her March 29 or March 30 shows, but on March 30, she announced she was taking a week off for what she called an Easter vacation with her family.

On her first show back, on Monday, Ingraham still did not directly address the advertiser boycott. Instead, she joked to fellow Fox News host Sean Hannity at the top of her show: “Did anything happen while I was gone? … I’m glad I don’t have a Google alert on my own name, that’s all I can say.”
This isn’t the first time the news channel has been accused of padding its embattled shows with unauthorized commercials. Last year, Crowne Plaza hotels and MyPillow pulled their ads from Fox News after their commercials appeared on the “O’Reilly Factor” during an uproar sparked by a New York Times report that Fox had paid out millions to settle multiple sexual harassment accusations against him.
