It's over...for now. YouTube stars David Dobrik and Liza Koshy announced their split during a video titled, "We Broke Up," on June 4 — although they officially called it quits six months ago.

So, why did David and Liza break up? For a few reasons, actually. "All jokes aside, we are broken up. Liza broke up with me," David said. "It wasn't healthy for us to continue to be together, for now." Liza — who is going through some "rough stuff" at the moment — said she needs to start loving herself before she can love anyone else, but made sure to note that she still considers David her best friend.

"Basically, what we're trying to say is that we're friends," she explained. Liza and David were together for two years and consistently appeared in each other's adventurous and comedic videos, so fans of the couple were completely devastated to hear the news.
