Meredith Vieira is returning to television.
Fox Television Stations has picked up the Vieira-hosted syndicated game show 25 Words or Less for a fall launch following a three-week trial run this summer. The next batch of episodes will debut in the fall. The series has been cleared in 40 percent of the country amid increased competition from new syndicated arrivals including Judge Jerry, a Kelly Clarkson-hosted talk show and more.
