One of the most ridiculous plot twists that comes to mind is the one from “Source Code.” The entire film’s premise is predicated on the fact that the simulation Jake Gyllenhaal’s character, Colter Stevens, is in is only meant to last eight minutes and takes place inside the memory of another man’s consciousness.
