'Fist Fight' Director to Helm E-Sports Comedy Starring Will Ferrell

Richie Keen, who has directed episodes of such television series as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Goldbergs as well as the 2017 comedy film Fist Fight, is set to helm an upcoming comedy from Legendary Pictures centered on e-sports, with Will Ferrell attached to star, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The film is Keen's sophomore feature directorial effort, following Fist Fight, which starred Sunny alum Charlie Day and Ice Cube. The plot centers on Ferrell's character who, at an age much older than his fellow e-athletes, joins the world of competitive e-sports.
