In over 25 seasons of the Power Rangers franchise, there have been nearly as many Blue Rangers on the core teams as there are seasons, narrowly beating out the Yellow Ranger numbers. Unlike the Pink, Black, or Green Rangers, a team always has at least one Blue Ranger. Some teams even get a specialty Ranger in a shade of blue to back them up. The Blue Rangers started the series in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers days by being the intellectual powerhouses of the teams.
