Cynthia Wells has become a new woman since appearing in My 600-lb Life season 5. The Oklahoma native was 42 when she debuted on the hit TLC series in 2017, weighing over 610 pounds. At the time, Cynthia was dealing with multiple obstacles, such as the inability to move and other health issues. However, what hurt her the most was her inability to watch her daughter perform at dance festivals. As a result, she decided to change her life. Cynthia wanted to become fit, so she could be an active mom again.
Before her journey with My 600 lb Life's Mr. Younan Nowzaradan, Cynthia felt like a burden on her 11-year-old daughter. That’s why she was determined to lose weight when she consulted with "Dr. Now" in Houston. At the time, she had the simple task of losing 30 pounds by following her diet. However, she failed to do so, got annoyed, and left the program.
