Uhtred of Bebbanburg's story finally comes to a close in The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die, which will grace Netflix's content library on April 14. Based on Bernard Cornwell's epic novels, The Last Kingdom lasted 5 seasons and centers on the Anglo-Saxon nobleman Uhtred (played by Alexander Dreymon) who sought to reclaim his birthright after being raised by Danes when he was young. Though the series began with a desire to unite the disparate kingdoms under King Alfred, a few generations have passed since then.

Season 5 of The Last Kingdom ended with Uhtred as Lord of Bebbanburg once more, but with Northumbria still not a part of the country that would become England.
