Link is Zelda's knight in shining armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but as the game progresses, some players may begin to speculate that there's something more between the iconic duo. After all, the protagonist continually proves that finding and saving the Princess is his top priority, even if it means risking his life. Indeed, the fate of Hyrule seems to lie entirely in his success with this goal, but the lengthy history and warm dynamic between the two characters may cause some players to wonder if Link and Zelda are in a relationship in Totk.

Some Zelda fans have long theorized (and hoped) that the Princess and the Hero of Hyrule are courting.
