Emmy Rossum On The Crowded Room & Playing Tom Holland's Mother
Emmy Rossum is no stranger to complex family dynamics, but The Crowded Room puts Shameless's Gallagher family to, well, shame. Rossum stars as Candy in the new AppleTV+ show that features Tom Holland in the starring role of Danny Sullivan. As Danny's mother, Candy is clued into her son's struggles, but that doesn't help her in preventing him from potentially committing a terrible crime, one that will force him to look at his past with clarity he has not yet experienced.
In addition to Holland and Rossum, The Crowded Room also stars Amanda Seyfried, Sasha Lane, and Jason Isaacs. Creator Akiva Goldsman adapts the show from the book The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes.
