Rise of the Beasts' Resurrection Could Set Up Transformers Zombies
The following contains spoilers for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, now in theaters.
When it comes to death in the Transformers movies, director Michael Bay didn't hold back. Across his five films, he killed a bevy of Autobots and Decepticons, which led to him reviving Optimus Prime and Megatron. Clearly, the Bayverse wanted to show fans this robot war on Earth had dire ramifications.
Well, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts charts this intense route as well, with Maximals, Terrorcons and Autobots in the firing line. It all ensues when Scourge comes to find the Transwarp key to unleash the full power of Unicron. However, while a fan-favorite Autobot does die and get revived, this second chance may have come at a sinister cost.
