God of War Boss Responds to Dwayne Johnson's Rumored Kratos Casting
After rumors began to circulate that Prime Video's God of War series was considering casting Dwayne Johnson in the titular role of Kratos, one of the franchise's creators immediately shut down the gossip.
Over on Twitter, creative director of several God of War games Cory Barlog responded to claims that the wrestler-turned-actor was in talks to play the enraged deity. "I have literally never heard anything about this," he simply wrote. Many followers expressed their satisfaction with the news, stating their beliefs that Johnson, who is widely regarded as one of the most recognizable faces of modern Hollywood, would be a pure fit for the video game adaptation.
