Harley Quinn And Joker Get Isekai Treatment In New Suicide Squad Anime

DC Comics supervillains Harley Quinn and the Joker are getting the Isekai treatment in a new Suicide Squad anime produced by Warner Bros. Japan. DC has been no stranger to working with the biggest names of anime to bring their iconic heroes and villains to the medium. One of their original anime films, Batman Ninja, was even well-received by fans for blending the Gotham City detective with feudal Japan. Now, DC and the world of anime are collaborating once again with a new project that will take one of the most popular sub-genres in the medium, Isekai, and apply it to one of DC's fan-favorite characters.
Crunchyroll News recently announced on their site that a new anime called Suicide Squad Isekai will be making its way to screens everywhere in the very near future. This huge project announced at Anime Expo 2023 features various talented individuals that have worked with Isekai anime before.
