The Other Grand Admiral Secretly Alive In The Star Wars Timeline - Who's More Dangerous Than Thrawn

Ahsoka believes Thrawn is the last surviving Imperial Grand Admiral who poses a threat to the New Republic's peace, but unbeknownst to her, Rae Sloane is secretly creating the First Order. Rae Sloane, a primary character from the Star Wars: Aftermath trilogy, survives the Battle of Jakku and flees to the Unknown Regions, where she builds her own Imperial remnant that eventually becomes the First Order. The New Republic assumes Sloane is dead due to the Battle of Jakku and her absence until the emergence of the First Order, which is why Ahsoka mentions Thrawn as the last Imperial Grand Admiral. Ahsoka's story focuses on the New Republic's confrontation with Thrawn, while Sloane's activities tie into the events of The Force Awakens.
