This is based on the award-winning animated short Hair Love, which won the Best Animated Short Oscar back in 2020. They've now turned it into a full-on animated series, available to watch on Max soon. An honest look into the world of an African American young family of millennial parents, as they juggle their careers, marriage, parenthood, social issues and multi-generational dynamics striving for a better life.
